Free swing trade set-ups for the week:
Swing Trading | AAPL and GS | 60-Minute Chart Long
As according to this week’s stock market update, if stocks bounce or become range-bound this week, the rubber band swing trade for AAPL might be a good way to make profits. GS is another way to play this move but in the financial sector instead of technology.

Swing Trading | IBM, MHS | Preparing for a sell-off
If a sell-off is coming this week, consider capitalizing on this by shorting the rubber band swing trading strategy to the weekly chart of IBM and/or the daily chart of MHS.
If stock prices plummet, these short sale trade set-ups should catch their share of profits.

Swing Trading Signals and Set-ups | AAPL, BA, IBM, MMM
Powerful swing trading strategy for traders who wish to always trade with the trend and enjoy a high percent win. Losing swing traders can start here to change results and find consistent profits in today’s tough markets.
Warning – stocks are risky investments. Consult with a professional advisor and learn about the risks of trading before making a decision involving stocks and other markets.
This week’s broader stock market action makes for tough choices for traders, as price has been mostly range-bound. We will therefore focus on shorter term swing trading set-ups and attempt to capture swing trading profits as price moves back and forth in the larger range. I always prefer to swing trade in longer time frames as they make considerably more consistent profits and have much lower transaction cost impact on a trading account. I was able to find one rubber band swing trade in the weekly chart time frame (MMM)

Swing Trading Signals on the 60-Mintue Charts | AAPL, BA, IBM
The short sellers have really been going after AAPL it seems, and it appears as if AAPL has not been going up with the broader stock market. If a short squeeze develops, there may be swing trading profit opportunity for rubber band swing traders. Watch this one closely and be ready to trade to the long side. BA and IBM hit their upper extremes last week and may present a good place to go short this week according to the rubber band swing trading strategy on the 60-minute chart. Keep them in your watchlist and only take entry when the time is right.
As with all 60-minute chart rubber band swing trades do not place overnight entry stop orders. Price may gap too far past the entry place and leave you with a terrible entry. This is not acceptable. Pass on rubber band swing trades in which you can’t get an execution close to the desired entry price. Passing on trades and not chasing is part of what it takes to be a successful swing trader in the long term.
Rubber Band Swing Trading Signal | MMM Weekly Chart Long
MMM has turned green after weeks of selling off and moving sideways. Swing trading in this term is less demanding and makes it easier to profit in many ways. Also consider selling out of the money covered calls with such a trade. Leave plenty of room for price to hit its target and just pocket a few extra dollars to pay for transaction costs etc. Click the weekly chart of MMM to enlarge.
Swing Trading Signals and Setups FCX, INTC, XOM
Free swing trade set-ups for the week. For more information, see the rubber band swing trading strategy.
Swing Trading | FCX Weekly Chart Long
Copper often follows the broad stock market. If FCX can break out from here along with stocks in general, it should really move nicely northward for us in this rubber band swing trade.
The chart shows a nice short sale a few months ago under this strategy.
Swing Trading | INTC Daily Chart Short
This offers a short sale alternative for the position trader.
INTC looks as if it might have found a top in the medium term.
If the stock market and/or INTC tanks, we can jump aboard and try to make a few bucks.
Swing Trading | XOM Daily Chart Short
Oil tends to bounce sharply all over the place. If this is a bounce to the downside, the rubber band swing trade should capture the move.

Rubber Band Swing Trade Short Set-ups on the 60-Minute chart
The stock market is overbought and short entries are loaded up. All we need is for things to break so we can maybe make some money swing trading short. In the 60-minute term, I am looking to apply the >>Rubber Band Swing Trading Strategy<< to JPM, MMM, and MON. JPM might be a great way to play a strong pullback in the bank sector. MMM is a DOW 30 behemoth that is showing weakness already ahead of the broader market. The 60-min chart of MON shows a particularly weak pattern.
Rubber Band Swing Trade Short Set-ups on the Daily Chart
For a short sale position trade I like the Rubber Band Swing Trade Strategy as applied to the daily charts of WM and AXP. The daily chart of WM looks especially weak. AXP behaves well for swing traders once it gets moving and offers smaller whipsaws that other stocks in its sector.
Swing Trading | AAPL, JPM, DIS, CSCO
There are two new rubber band swing trade signals along with two old ones that are still valid. Please learn the risks of stock trading prior to investing and do your own research. Swing trading signals are for entertainment purposes only. The authors of this site may be trading these trades and may be long or short these stocks at any time.
AAPL | 60-Minute Chart Long
When will AAPL pop again? Who knows, but when it does launch use the 60-minute chart along with the >>>Â rubber band swing trading strategy <<<< (opens in a new window) as it might be a great way to profit from the move. As always with shorter-term charts and trades, do not get caught in morning gap situations – simply pass on the trade if entry does not come at the desired location.
JPM | Weekly Chart Long
This swing trading signal is still valid, we think. Any of the big bank/financial stocks will do, GS, etc. At some point the banks could recover in this time frame and this is the way to be there if it happens. See the previous swing trade signal post.
DIS | Weekly Long
The same goes for DIS, which seems to follow the broad stock market fairly close. Take advantage of this swing opportunity through DIS. See the previous swing trading post -we think the trade is still quite valid.
CSCO | Monthly Chart “Right Now”
This could have been spotted earlier, as price is sitting right on its entry. The rubber band swing trading strategy could end up capturing a large chunk of what might be a major rally in CSCO. The swing trading signal calls for going long right here at its current price. Don’t chase.
Swing Trading Signals | XOM, JPM, FCX, DIS
These are the rubber band swing trading strategy set-ups/signals I am looking at trading this week. Please do your own research and become familiar with the risks of trading stocks prior to investing.
XOM | 60-Minute Chart Short | Overbought?
Oil has been going up and so has XOM. A decent correction in this action is likely at some point soon but do not get run over be the freight train that is the current trend. Use the rubber band swing trade strategy to grab a slice of the short-term panic when the bottom appears to start falling out.
JPM | Weekly Chart Long | Will the banks join the rally?
Stocks seldom rally as a group unless the banks go along with them. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t – but if they do, consider grabbing your piece with this long set-up on the weekly chart.
FCX | Daily Chart Long | Here comes copper and FCX
FCX is right on the line for a buy on the daily chart so watch things closely. Only enter according tot he rubber band swing trading rules and do not chase if the stock gaps up
beyond the entry target (as always).
DIS | Weekly Chart Long | Follow the market
DIS often trades right along with the broad stock market and it has been lately. Since there is no worse feeling than missing a major move, this would be a great way to make sure to profit if the market really takes off.

Swing Trading | AMZN, BA, AXP, BIDU
It’s always difficult to predict market direction. The Rubber Band Swing Trading Strategy waits until the trend changes and always trades in the direction of that new trend. Here are a few rubber band swing trade setups I am looking at for this week – whatever direction we end up with.
AMZN Swing Trade Short | 60 Minute Chart
If the market tanks this week, this trade should be a winner. Watch out for price opening below the entry point and then spending the next hour going right back up into an uptrend though, especially on
Monday. These fakies can be costly. Instead of getting caught by a gap like this with a good till canceled order, wait to set your “sell short stop entry market” order until after the market is open. Make it good for the day only. If price gaps below the entry target, just pass on the trade.
BA | Swing Trade Short | 60 Minute chart
I’m still watching for long entry on the weekly chart, but in the mean time BA offers a more stable and high volume alternative to AMZN.
AXP | Swing Trade Long | Daily Chart
There is always the chance that the market can really take of and rally from here. If it does, I don’t want to miss it. AXP is poised to rally if it can make it up to our rubber band entry level.
BIDU Â | Swing Trade Long | Daily Chart
BIDU is the high tech screamer alternative to the AXP trade. If tech takes off – don’t miss out.
Disclosure and disclaimer. I might be personally trading this securities, both long and short. Please see the SEC website about the risks of stock trading and investing and consult with a professional before using real money.
Swing Trading | IBM | Rubber Band Strategy
IBM is setting up for a short swing trade on the daily chart as per the rubber band swing trading strategy. Trading is risky, please do your own research prior to stock investing.
The daily chart of IBM prepares us to go short if the stock market tanks from here. Click on the chart to enlarge.
Swing Trading Signal | BA | Rubber Band Swing Trading Strategy
Boeing Co stock has shown strong relative strength compared tot he rest of the stock market and has been in the news with strong orders for the 787. Spring load yourself for a long-side trade if BA if the stock market starts taking off. This is a great trade set-up to make sure that you don’t miss any big move to the up-side.
Follow the Rubber Band Swing Trading Strategy on the weekly chart of BA. Please do your own research and learn the risks of stock investing before you trade. Click on the chart to enlarge.
AXP | Short Sale Signal | Swing Trading Strategy
AXP is showing a long-term rollover on the monthly chart. If the long term trend of AXP is going to tank – who are we to fight the tape?
AXP rings a Rubber Band Swing Trading Strategy signal for a short trade ont he monthly chart. Please do your own research prior to investing in or trading stocks.
